Satoshi Mizukami’s Spirit Circle is receiving a television anime adaptation, with Japanese broadcasts and international streaming planned to begin in December 2026. The November 5 announcement introduced a teaser trailer, visual, and principal cast. An exact premiere date and territory-specific streaming platforms have not yet been established in the sources reviewed.
The supernatural story follows Fuuta Okeya, a boy who can see spirits. His life changes when transfer student Kouko Ishigami arrives with a hostile interest in him, drawing him into a conflict connected to reincarnation. Kazuki Ura voices Fuuta, with Anna Nagase as Kouko, Eri Yukimura as Rune, and Yuichi Nakamura as East.
The 18-episode adaptation is produced by Twin Engine, with animation from NAGOMI and EOTA. Tatsuo Sato is credited as director and series composer. Following his death in April, production was completed under assistant director Kentaro Mizuno. Satoru Fujimoto provides the character designs.
Mizukami, also known for Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer and Sengoku Youko, published the manga from 2012 to 2016. The announcement, therefore, arrives ten years after the original series concluded.
