Welsh & Shedar sets November 5 international YouTube premiere

Welsh & Shedar will begin streaming on Ankama’s Krosmoz YouTube channel on November 5, 2026, with availability worldwide except Japan. Ankama announced the detailed international schedule and released an international trailer on October 19. Episode two follows on November 6, with subsequent episodes arriving every Thursday.

The 12-episode fantasy adventure takes place in the world of DOFUS. It follows Welsh, a young cook whose quiet village life changes when the dragon Asalar and the hero Joris arrive. His journey brings him into a conflict involving Queen Zabelle and her son, Shedar.

The French-Japanese production is directed by Naoki Horiuchi and animated at Studio MASSKET, with character designs by Saori Nakashiki. Japanese leads Rikuya Yasuda and Yuki Kaji voice Welsh and Shedar respectively. The international release offers Japanese, English and French audio, alongside English, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.

The announcement establishes specific international dates, rather than unveiling the series itself. Its Japanese broadcast began on Tokyo MX on October 2, while the YouTube release had previously been announced only for November. The newly published schedule runs through January 14, 2027.
