Clayface opens to $43 million worldwide, leading North American box office

Clayface has opened with an estimated US$43 million worldwide, including US$24 million in the United States and Canada. The October 25, 2026 weekend reporting places DC Studios’ horror film first at the North American box office, ahead of You Can See Everything. These are weekend estimates and remain subject to revision.

Directed by James Watkins, Clayface stars Tom Rhys Harries alongside Naomi Ackie. The film brings one of Batman’s villains into a body-horror story, with Harries playing actor Matt Hagen. DC’s official coverage confirms that the film is now in cinemas.

The opening comes with encouraging audience feedback: TheWrap reports an A− CinemaScore and a 4.5-out-of-five PostTrak rating. Its reported production budget is approximately US$40 million, substantially smaller than a typical superhero blockbuster. The opening alone does not establish profitability.

Meanwhile, A24’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything earned an estimated US$19.5 million in its second weekend after expanding to 2,655 locations. Its North American total has reached approximately US$45 million, making its continued theatrical performance another significant result from the weekend.
