Netflix confirms The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call seasons 2 and 3
Netflix has confirmed production of two more seasons of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. The October 19 announcement brings back Ju Ji-hoon and Choo Young-woo, while Jeong Ye-in joins the Korean medical drama as nurse Cheon Jang-mi. Neither season has a release date yet.
The series follows Baek Kang-hyuk, a highly skilled trauma surgeon determined to rebuild a struggling hospital trauma team. Ju returns as Kang-hyuk, with Choo reprising Yang Jae-won, his first protégé. The new seasons will put the team under greater pressure as Kang-hyuk works to expand and stabilise a trauma-care system capable of saving more patients.
Returning cast members also include Yoon Kyung-ho as Han Yu-rim and Jeong Jae-kwang as anesthesiologist Park Gyeong-won. Jeong Ye-in takes over the role of Cheon Jang-mi following Ha Young’s departure, according to Soompi.
Lee Do-yun returns to direct and will write season two. Studio N and Mays Entertainment produce the adaptation of the webtoon Trauma Center: Golden Hour. Netflix says the first season reached its television Top 10 in 63 countries during 2025, including number-one placements in 18.
The announcement confirms both seasons for production, but does not establish episode counts or a release schedule.
