GROTESQQQUE’s 4649Girl segment gets early Netflix release in Japan
4649Girl, also known as Yoroshiku★Shōjo, will stream exclusively on Netflix in Japan from October 23 to November 5, 2026, ahead of its theatrical release as part of GROTESQQQUE. Aniplex announced the limited streaming window on October 19. The announcement does not establish availability outside Japan.
The segment follows a battle royale involving girls known as GAL-P, with music changing between confrontations. Sara Minami voices protagonist Stella, alongside a cast including Ikumi Hasegawa, Saori Hayami, Maaya Uchida, and Chika Anzai. Takahiro Miura directs the segment, with character designs by tarou2.
GROTESQQQUE is an original animated anthology from director Atsushi Nishigori and studio CloverWorks, combining three stories with different settings. The full film remains scheduled to open in Japanese cinemas on November 6. This Netflix release covers one segment, not the complete anthology.
During the streaming window, viewers will also receive a collaboration music video for METALVERSE’s “Shoot Shoot Shoot.” International streaming arrangements for either the segment or the complete film remain unconfirmed by the announcements reviewed.
