Love Live! Hasunosora television anime sets January 10, 2027 premiere

Love Live! Hasunosora Girls’ High School Idol Club will begin broadcasting in Japan on January 10, 2027, on Tokyo MX, BS11 and other channels. The release information accompanied an October 18 livestream introducing the project’s new cast members and a key visual.

The television series will run for seven episodes, covering the 106th class’s story from April through June. The announcement establishes a specific premiere date for the previously announced adaptation, rather than unveiling another separate Love Live! project.

New cast members include Julia Hoshimiya as Maika Kinjo, Kana Asahi as Aoi Reisawa and Kanae Yuasa as Mion Shinowa. Gou Kurosaki directs at Sublimation, with Fumiaki Maruto writing the scripts, Haruko Iizuka designing the characters and Yoshiaki Fujisawa composing the music.

The Hasunosora project launched through the smartphone app Link! Like! LoveLive! in April 2023 and has expanded through music, online programming and live performances.

The January 10 date applies to Japanese broadcasting. International streaming partners and release arrangements have not been established by the announcements reviewed.
