Multi-Mind Mayhem’s Anime Adaptation Starts in January 2027.
Multi-Mind Mayhem: Isekai Tensei Soudouki has been around for quite some time. Written by Ryousen Takami, the series originally began as a web novel back in 2013 before making the jump to a light novel release in 2014, with illustrations by Ririnra. The light novel eventually ran for 14 volumes between 2014 and 2019. A manga adaptation illustrated by Honoji followed, which has also reached 14 collected volumes.
Now, more than a decade after the story first began, Multi-Mind Mayhem is finally making the jump to anime.
The upcoming TV adaptation is being produced by Studio DEEN and is currently scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2027. The latest update also gave us the anime’s first full promotional video and a new key visual, offering our best look yet at how the long-running isekai series will translate to animation.
The story follows Bard Cornelius, the son of a noble family in the Kingdom of Mauricia. Bard is already a little unusual, but things get much stranger when you consider that three souls are sharing his body. Alongside Bard himself are Sanai Oka, a warrior from Japan’s Sengoku period, and Masaharu Oka, a modern-day high school otaku.
That unusual combination gives Bard access to Sanai’s experience in combat and strategy, as well as Masaharu’s modern knowledge. He eventually puts all of it to use across business, inventions, territory management, and the battlefield, gradually becoming someone capable of influencing the fate of the kingdom itself.

As of writing, an exact premiere date has not been announced beyond the January 2027 window, and there is currently no confirmed international streaming platform for the series. That will likely become clearer as we get closer to the Winter 2027 anime season.
For now, Multi-Mind Mayhem has taken a pretty long road from its beginnings in 2013 to finally reaching television. With its three-minds-in-one-body premise, a sizeable amount of source material to work with, and Studio DEEN behind the adaptation, it will be interesting to see how the series comes together when it arrives next year.
