Prabhas’ Spirit moves to October 29, 2027 theatrical release
Spirit, starring Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, will now reach cinemas on October 29, 2027. Writer-director Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced the date on October 18 alongside a new poster, moving the action drama from its previously announced March 5, 2027 release.
The film marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Vanga, whose previous films include Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal. Prabhas plays an incarcerated police officer, although the complete story remains undisclosed. The supporting cast includes Vivek Oberoi and veteran actor Kanchana.
Vanga also handles editing. Harshavardhan Rameshwar provides the background score, Raj Thota oversees cinematography and Supreme Sundar handles action choreography. T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures produce the film.
The announcement describes October 29 as a worldwide release date, placing Spirit in the Diwali theatrical window. However, country-specific cinema bookings, including availability in Trinidad and Tobago, have not been established by the information reviewed. Neither report provides an explanation for the delay or a streaming premiere date.
