A kid goes missing in a small town, and every answer seems to pull another family into the mystery. It’s one of my favourite series ever. Give it your full attention, and if you’re watching with someone, half the fun is comparing theories after each episode.

Why we picked it
A ship full of strangers comes across a vessel that’s been missing for months. There’s already enough tension between the passengers before anything strange happens, and being stuck out at sea makes every little detail feel worth paying attention to.
Silo
Why we picked it
Imagine living underground your whole life and being told it’s too dangerous to go outside. The mystery gets more interesting when you start wondering who made the rules and why everyone follows them.
Severance
Why we picked it
Would you take a job if you could forget all about it the moment you left? The office is funny in that painfully familiar way, which makes it even stranger when you start to see what the people working there are actually giving up.
Pluribus
Why we picked it
The world suddenly becomes a much happier place, and Carol wants nothing to do with it. Watching her deal with people who are endlessly pleasant is funny at first, then it starts to feel deeply unsettling.
