Crunchyroll confirms BLESS streaming release for January 2027

Crunchyroll will stream BLESS when the anime premieres in January 2027, with availability announced worldwide excluding Japan and China. The distributor confirmed the acquisition on October 22, 2026. The January premiere window had previously been announced in September.

Based on Yukino Sonoyama’s manga, the series follows Aia Utagawa, who was scouted as a model but dreams of becoming a makeup artist. He persuades Jun to enter a school runway competition with him handling her makeup. Their partnership gives both an opportunity to pursue ambitions they have struggled to express.

A separate character announcement confirmed Tarusuke Shingaki as the voice of Hikaru Oya, accompanied by a new character trailer. Final Weapon corroborated the casting and streaming news.

The announcement establishes Crunchyroll’s territories and the release month. An exact streaming premiere day and a dubbed release schedule were not established in the material reviewed.
