Kagurabachi Sets March World Premiere for Its First Two Episodes

Kagurabachi will premiere its first two complete anime episodes at Tokyo’s Kabukiza Theatre on March 25, 2027, ahead of its April launch. The event was announced on October 12 as the finale of the adaptation’s international promotional tour.

The screening will feature cast appearances, including Taihi Kimura, who voices Chihiro Rokuhira, Tomokazu Seki as Kunishige Rokuhira and Katsuyuki Konishi as Togo Shiba. Live screenings at cinemas across Japan are also planned.

Earlier tour stops have shown the opening 20 minutes of Episode 1. The Tokyo finale will expand that preview into the world premiere of both full episodes, giving attendees a more substantial introduction before broadcast and streaming begin.

The next tour stops include Singapore, Seoul and São Paulo, with selected events featuring panels alongside the preview footage.

Based on Takeru Hokazono’s manga, the adaptation is directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi, with character designs by Keigo Sasaki. The manga has surpassed 4.5 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.

The March 25 screening is a special event rather than the series’ television debut. An exact April broadcast date was not specified in the announcement.
