Null meta anime announced for 2027 with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 director Kai Ikarashi

Kokamumo’s four-panel comedy manga Nurumeta is getting a television anime in 2027. The October 18 announcement revealed a teaser visual and the main production team, with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 director Kai Ikarashi directing at animation studio Soigne.

The adaptation follows Kurumi, an artificial human, and three girls caught up in her unpredictable everyday life: her guardian Chiaki, the laid-back Sakina, and Shiyuki, the group’s comparatively sensible member. Published in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Max, the manga combines its everyday-life setup with the complications of having an artificial human at its centre.

Tatsuya Takahashi will handle series composition, while Shin Ogasawara designs the characters. Takahashi’s credits include The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls, and Ogasawara worked on Pokémon: Twilight Wings. Soigne previously produced mono.

The reveal identifies the project behind Aniplex’s October 15 announcement teasing an unnamed television anime in which everyday life would change. It is a newly confirmed adaptation, rather than a sequel or a release-date update for an existing series.

The announcement establishes a 2027 broadcast window but does not specify a season or premiere date. Voice casting, episode count and international streaming arrangements were not included in the released information.
