Samuel L. Jackson’s Frisco King Gets First Teaser and December Premiere Date
Paramount+ has released the first teaser for Frisco King, confirming that the Samuel L. Jackson-led Tulsa King spinoff will premiere on December 18, 2026. The October 15 announcement sets a two-episode launch, followed by new episodes every Friday.
Paramount+ is not currently available as a standalone streaming service in Trinidad and Tobago. The December 18 premiere therefore does not confirm local access to Frisco King. A broadcaster, streaming platform or release date for viewers in Trinidad and Tobago has not been announced.
Paramount+’s official list of supported markets does not include Trinidad and Tobago.
Jackson reprises his role as Russell Lee Washington Jr., the New Orleans gangster introduced in Tulsa King season three. The new series follows Lee to Frisco, Texas, where he begins building a criminal operation beneath the suburb’s affluent exterior.
Working with a young protégé, a trusted driver and an expanding group of associates, Lee turns small schemes into larger ventures. His growing influence also brings greater exposure and increasingly dangerous complications.
Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann join Jackson in the principal cast. Sylvester Stallone will make a special appearance, maintaining the connection to the parent series.
Taylor Sheridan wrote all eight episodes of the first season. The project was originally ordered under the title NOLA Kingin July 2025, before its new title and Texas setting were announced in February 2026.
Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce the series. Christina Alexandra Voros and Michael Friedman each directed four episodes, with Voros directing the pilot.
