The Hunting Wives releases season two trailer ahead of November return

Netflix released the trailer for The Hunting Wives season two on October 20, 2026, bringing Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman back to the Texas-set thriller. The series returns on November 26, a premiere date previously announced in August. The trailer is the new development, rather than a change to its release schedule.

Snow plays Sophie O’Neil, an East Coast transplant whose move to Maple Brook draws her into the wealthy and dangerous social circle of Margo Banks, played by Åkerman. Netflix’s season-two setup places the women at odds as the next chapter begins. The trailer previews renewed tension and another criminal investigation without resolving where their relationship will lead.

Rebecca Cutter returns as creator, showrunner, writer and executive producer. The series is based on May Cobb’s 2021 novel, with Cobb and Erwin Stoff also executive producing. Previously announced additions to the second-season cast include John Stamos, Kim Matula, Alex Fitzalan, Cam Gigandet and Dale Dickey.

The November 26 launch is planned for nearly all countries where Netflix operates, according to the season’s distribution announcement. That wording does not guarantee availability in every territory.
