The Rings of Power season 3 releases new trailer ahead of November premiere
Prime Video released the full trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season three on October 21, 2026, offering a new look at Sauron’s campaign against Middle-earth ahead of the show’s November return.
The eight-episode season begins with four episodes on November 11. Episodes five and six follow on November 18, with the final two arriving on November 25. The premiere date was previously announced; today’s update is the new trailer.
Charlie Vickers returns as Sauron, whose pursuit of the One Ring drives the coming conflict. The season follows the struggle to resist his expanding power, with Middle-earth’s divided peoples facing the need to cooperate against a common enemy. The footage places that war at the centre of the story without resolving how its competing factions will respond.
Set in Middle-earth’s Second Age, thousands of years before The Lord of the Rings, the series explores the events behind Tolkien’s later stories. J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay continue as showrunners. Season-three directors include Charlotte Brändström, Sanaa Hamri and Stefan Schwartz. Returning performers include Morfydd Clark as Galadriel and Robert Aramayo as Elrond, while Jamie Campbell Bower joins as Celeborn, Galadriel’s husband. His casting was announced earlier this year.
